Got something to say?

blackberry for more business, or iphone which is more personal, but still just as good or better than a blackberry.
I’m just wondering what exactly you mean by business phone.
Your probably looking for a phone thats good at getting emails and opening attachment such as word document, excel spreadsheets, PDFs or powerpoint presentations that you could get from work or for a class that you need to check/work on while your out.
There’s actually two pretty good choices, and I’m going to stick with the verizon phones here because they have it all and I’m a verizon dealer =)
You could definitely go for a blackberry, the new Blackberry Bold just released and I have to say it is a pretty great phone. They finally got rid of that annoying trackball and just have a little touch square in the middle that you move your finger over just like the trackball but it feels MUCH nicer.
You can also get your regular email on your blackberry and open up all the documents I listed earlier, although I can’t remember exactly if they’ll open up power points. You’ll also get a blackberry email that can make you look pretty professional and have all your important emails come straight to you instantly.
The Blackberry Bold also has blackberry apps such as pandora for streaming music and a facebook app for keeping in touch with your friends and since your in college, you’ll definitely be needing that. The Bold also has WiFi support so if your campus or your dorm/apartment has it you can connect to that and get great speeds while browsing the web.
Also a 3.2MP camera for whenever the college moments arise, video as well.
They are also quite a comfortable phone to hold and use for fairly extended periods of time.
Now if that sounds about like everything your wanting then you could also be quite interested in one of the new Droid phones.

I have to say the Motorola Droid and new Droid incredible are amazing.
They will do everything the blackberry does and… even quite a bit more.
The motorola droid has a 5mp camera while the incredible has an 8mp camera.
The moto droid has a keyboard while the icredible does not.
moto droid has dual 512 mhz processors one for handling phone calls the other for handling apps which causes the phone to run very efficiently and very fast.
The Droid Incredible has a single 1ghz processor to provide a very fast experience as well.
Both phones have an incredible web browser where you can view any website you could want and later this month there’s a new update to add Adobe Flash to the phone and you can even play flash games or watch flash videos. You can already watch youtube videos.
They both have VERY high resolution screens which allow you to watch youtube videos in their high quality format.
The android marketplace for the droid phones has nearly 50,000 apps that will do ALL kinds of things including scanning the barcode of a product and looking up to see if you can find it cheaper anywhere else. There is also and app you can download so that you can not only download all those file attachments from your email but also edit, save and email them back as well.
There’s tons more that the droids do so it’d probably be better to just google motorola droid or droid incredible and get the info yourself then have me forget something good.
I know I kind of made the droids sound like they a way better phone but… they kind of are, especially for a college student who wants a good phone but also a great entertainment piece, both the droid and blackberry will be about the same price and will require the $29.99 data package
I’ve owned the blackberry storm and motorola droid and I have to say, the droid has beat out any phone I’ve owned and any I’ve seen in my store yet, including customer’s and my friend’s iphones.
Sorry for such a long response, I really like my droid. Head to a store and test one out and you’ll see why, it will do everything you want and more.
I just threw in the info about the blackberry because you said you were thinking about it and well… those blackberries need to be sold too lol, the bold would definitely probably be the best if you did want a BB.
Hope I helped and didn’t just make a super long boring read for you.
If you happen to be from the seattle area let me know and you can come check out my store!
